We’re finally getting back into the swing of things, and I’m excited to share some shots from Chris and Natalie’s engagement session from way back when : ) As you can tell–no winter coats… no snow… and there are still leaves on the trees. Yes, this was a fall engagement session! At least we got around to posting it. That’s what counts, right?

Eric and I really had a great time with these two. We had shot a wedding the day before, we we kind of bummed it and wore our hoodies and moccasins to help ease the aches from the previous day. It felt nice to walk around the city in cozy clothes and just have fun shooting. Chris and Natalie are such a great couple, and we could tell in just the short amount of time we were with them; they are perfect for each other. I’m pretty sure she said they meet in college–both “geeks” as she called it, butI would just say incredibly smart…. and I’m jealous : ) Not only are they fun to be around and extremely intelligent, they are quite artistic. I saw some walls they painted in their house through some Facebook photos and–whoa! They were incredible. I want Natalie to come paint my walls like that!

Love these two! Can’t wait to post them on our new “lifestyle sessions” website (coming soon, when we don’t have a million other things to work on ; ) )

Jason and Katie had somewhat of a mini engagement session awhile back. Here are a few of our picks from the session!

Garrett + Susan’s save the dates arrived the other day, and they look lovely. They are a glossy postcard style. It’s not a design we showcase on the 2010 Pricing Guide, but it is definitely one we can get again. We are able to customize the colors to match your wedding, of course : )

Here is a brief but adorable peek of Garrett + Susan’s engagement session in August. We shot their loveshoot back in January, and those photos never made it up on the old blog. Maybe I will throw some of those in when I post the rest of their session favorites within the next week! They were pretty great, too : ) Garrett and Eric have been friends since they were babies. And then I came along and stole Eric away from Garrett…muhahahah. Now we are all close, so it’s a very special occasion for us! Garrett was in our wedding, and we are honored to be a part of his. The end.

Now it’s off to find some more fun props for the Photo Guestbook! Halloween stores are great places for props, so we are excited when they open each year.

Oh, and Eric and I have been talking, and we have a couple big announcements in store! They will come later…
